Jouyssance des Instruments
(JDI), a period-instrument ensemble, was formed in 2002 for the performance of
Medieval, Renaissance and Early Baroque music.
JDI specializes in mixed vocal-instrumental works. Under Artistic Director Ted Stern, JDI
regularly performs with Los Angeles-based Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble.
JDI, Jouyssance, and the Los Angeles
Recorder Orchestra (LARO) are supported by the Foundation of the
Neo-Renaissance, a 501(c)(3) corporation.
