Been There, Done That... |
Some folks refer to us as Nomads or Gypsies because we have moved around to different places so many times. Not because we were a military family, or because my employer required it, but simply because I would get bored with the 'same old place' and looked forward to new environs. I am not particularly fond of traveling (don't like dealing with the trucks and RV's, and never could compare hotel/motel facilities with my home), so if the open road calls, we just move to new surroundings instead !
In the 50 years we have been together our record looks like somebody on the "lam". Some of the moves were tempory rentals while we were waiting for construction of our home, but a move nevertheless. Here is where we have been:
