The Ventura County Astronomical Society (VCAS) is Ventura County's astronomy club. It is a large and active group, having monthly meetings and dark-sky observing parties.

National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard. This site has the latest weather including satellite pictures and links to web cams. Check here when making plans for star parties.

Mt. Pinos. This website shows pictures of the Ventura County and Los Angeles area's best star party site in the Los Padres National Forest and gives directions and suggestions for visitors.  This page is part of Daniel Reyna's astronomy web page.  

Dan Reyna's Astronomy website.  Dan is a former Oxnard College astronomy student and is a proficient amateur astronomer.

The Constellations and their Stars site has pictures of the constellations, the names of stars in each constellation, lists of Messier objects, photos, links to Greek and Roman star myths, and much more.

The Hubble Heritage Project Archive Gallery has pictures of deep-sky objects along with descriptive information.

The Solar System Simulator is a fun site. It simulates views of the planets and their moons from anywhere in the solar system.
