A long long time ago or at least, it seems that way;
from a town in old Judea, in a stable filled with hay;
a star had shown so brilliant, down on this very place;
and these kings that came from far off, saw God, face to face.
They brought Him myrrh and incense, frankincense and gold.
The story was beginning, that God's prophets had foretold.
Heaven's angles were rejoicing when God became a man;
for they heard the Son and Father, discuss their saving plan.
To save the souls of many I'll come to them in flesh.
Rivers of living water, to give man righteousness.
To wipe the sins of every man, from off the face of time;
I'll draw all men back unto me. I am the Living Vine.
A star that night was shining bright when God came to us that way;
but this time when He comes back, the stars will pass away.
For we will see His Glory, and bend our knees down low;
to worship God forever, as His children, let us grow.
Amen...
