Spring of Life

When I think of Spring, I think of new life.

I think of beginnings, with absence of strife.

Creation in motion, goes on, never stops.

As I ponder the notion, grows mountains’ tops.

I think of the young child, still in their spring.

I think of the joy, to me, all they bring.

And God created humans, in His image from dust.

It was the first springtime ever, and God placed a trust.

But humans couldn’t fathom, what was coming was a must.

Mankind must experience summer, and all its heat;

The sleepiness of autumn, their life in retreat;

And the deep cold of winter, the cycle’s complete.

But I then think of Jesus, the glory of spring.

He’s the glory of all life, of life, everything.

Today is a new day, to the Lord let us sing.

Gave us springtime forever, right under His wing.

Thank you Lord so much, for the new life to us;

This spring day remember, our sweet Lord Jesus.
