Just For Us
He doesn't want you to change yourself, before you come to Him.
Just bring yourself, just as you are and invite Him to come in.
For we all have parted from the truth, our eyes, they cannot see;
but Jesus came to open our eyes and to have us all set free.
God took the sin of every man and had them put on Christ.
To pay the debt once and for all, the Lamb he sacrificed.
All down through time we had no way to come back unto the Lord.
But by His grace and from His love, He gave to us His Word.
The Word made flesh to give us life, we seen Him, yet still denied.
We turned away from the Living Truth, and had Him crucified.
God said His Word is always true and shall never pass away.
God showed us how, when He glorified and raised Christ that third day.
I am the Way, the Truth, and Life, Jesus says to all.
Accept God's gift, who was sacrificed. Don't deafen to the call.
There's a heaven and hell, no in-between, and we all must face that day;
having with us Christ, who paid the price, or alone our debt to pay.
God said the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is life.
There's only one way to receive this gift and that's through His sacrifice.
