Bought with a price
There's someone here both day and the night;
who paid the Great Price and claims soul right;
to take the big scroll that has seven seals;
when he has it in His hands, all heaven kneels.
He loves the world, He love us all.
Before the beginning, He knew His call.
For mankind's sin, He took the blame;
spit, hammered and stabbed on, received our shame.
Suffered the agony, the hell and the strife;
so all of man could have spiritual life.
The death in His body was long and so slow.
The full wrath of God, He took every blow.
But He opened the door so that mankind could see;
Fellowship with the Father, how to really be free.
Amen.
